Follow the trail as though you were nearsighted presents a series of paths tracing key aspects that have influenced contemporary art in Catalonia over the past 10 years.
The artistic projects on display in the exhibition at Arts Santa Mònica were produced and disseminated within the framework of what has become one of the benchmark institutions for emerging art, the Sala d’Art Jove.
Through a choral presentation, Follow the trail as though you were nearsighted centers on five research processes, which serve as the guide for following the paths of different issues that have influenced art in the recent past, including the question of production and the economy; artistic discourse and the legacy of conceptual art; collaborative practice and the so-called educational turn; artistic research; and transmediality.
